Daniel Garcia is an award-winning video editor. He received a Primetime Emmy for his work on “SNL50: The Anniversary Special” and was previously nominated for an American Cinema Editors Award for the unprecedented “Saturday Night Live At Home” episode during the pandemic.
Daniel began his career in sports editing for CONCACAF and Major League Baseball. Perseverance and opportunity soon took him to A&E Networks International, Food Network, and eventually to NBC and Saturday Night Live.
For ten seasons he has had the immense privilege of editing pre-tapes, promos, and special segments for this historic show. SNL has also led to editing work in the music industry, including a Christmas special for Michael Bublé and a music video for Lin-Manuel Miranda.
Daniel is a graduate of the esteemed Radio-Television Production program at the University of Central Florida (go Knights) and holds a minor in Film-Cinema Studies.
He lives in New York City with his wife.​
